Tuesday, March 28th - Library Thursday, March 30th - Show and tell Blue Friday, March 31st - Lenten Assembly Monday, April 3 - Spelling test Spelling:  Long vowel magic e: _a_e, _i_e, _o_e, _u_e. came, made, tape, kite, ride, side, pine, hope, bone, tube, cute, rude, etc. Most likely I will use words from this list for the test however. I may use other words but my intention is that your child listens to the consonants and the long vowel and they understand the pattern. Please feel free to practice other magic e words. If you google - magic e words - you will get lists of words that follow the rule. I didn't include long e in this list because the more likely word chunk is ee or ea. Thursday, March 9 - Orange show and tell, Library Friday, March 10 - Tie Dye Day New Spelling Skill: ow/ou - now, cow, how, bow, pow, out, our, ouch, loud, about.  Last week: Star Student Khurt Monday, February 27th - Assembly Wednesday, March 1 - Library Thursday, March 2 - Blue Show and Tell We are 'opening' a classroom grocery store! We will use play money and learn how to buy and make change. For our grocery store we need donated empty boxes, bags and cans. We can also use donated play food too. Please send as soon as possible! This picture is from last year but gives you an idea of what we had. We talked today about what kinds of food we would like in our store. We are leaning towards healthy food but snack food boxes are welcome too. Parent Teacher interviews are coming soon. They are set for March 14th, 15th in the late afternoon and evening.
