Monday, November 28 - Assembly Wednesday, November 30 - Advent Liturgy   Friday, December 2 - Hat Day $2, Library Day Wednesday, December 7 - Hot lunch December 14th, 5:30, Christmas concert for grades 1 and 2. This past Sunday marked the first day of Advent! In our classroom we put up our Advent Wreath and we are learning the meaning of the wreath and the candles. This week's theme is hope; We wait in joyful hope for the Saviour to be born. Christmas Party  We are planning to have a little Christmas party on the last Friday in December. We would love to have parents come join us and help. We haven't decided on morning or afternoon as we are planning it with our other grade one class. We would like to do a gift exchange in our classroom. Please wrap and send a pair of fun Christmas socks. For it we need costumes. If you have anything that we could use for shepherds, kings, angels or anything else please send it with your child. We had lots of fun at school on Halloween, we played games with another grade one class including 'pin the nose on the jack-o-lantern', 'throw a hoop over the pumpkin' and others! In the morning we made a fun scary puppet and the kids are excited to make a play with their puppets. On Tuesday we had our All Saints mass. It was lovely.
